Teknomomma gave me the idea for this thread. What is your ideal day?
Mine is a snowy day in the mountains with a roaring fire, a good book, No TV, a bottle of wine and a good sound system.
AAAHH! Sublime!

Re: Ideal Day?
Fri, April 1, 2005 - 3:40 PMThere are too many things that I enjoy doing that I could do all day (though I'm getting a bit old to make it that long on some of them) - so I actually need an Ideal Month, if'n all-ya'll don't mind...

Re: Ideal Day?
Fri, April 1, 2005 - 8:56 PMHow about a comfy lawn chair (like the one I have) that has a hole in the arm to hold your drink, warm weather, a bit of shade to keep the glare off, a good book, and chips and dip. Let's just set it up right behind the camper on a nice bit of grass..... -

Re: Ideal Day?
Sun, April 3, 2005 - 12:17 PMAs a result of this tribe, I have a big backlog of books to read. I need a month of ideal days. Princess, you bring the dip, Tek, you bring the chips, and I'll bring the vino. Where is a good halfway point for Dallas, SF and Alberta? South Dakota, maybe?
I wonder if my family would even notice I was gone? -

Sun, April 3, 2005 - 12:55 PMAn ideal day for reading is a day filled with thunder and lightening.
Rainy days are just meant for reading.

Sat, April 16, 2005 - 5:31 AMKansas... Kansas is a good mid-point!
Gosh, y'all have already said it all!
1) I need at least a month... a day just wouldn't cut it!
2) Speaking as a pianist, warm is good; cold is not so good!
3) Rainy days are awesome for reading - lots of thunder and lightning... ha! If I had capitalized that it would have been a book by Natalie Goldberg - Thunder and Lightning! Sometimes I even amuse myself. (Sorry, guys... I'm a non-fiction kind o' gal!)
4) I doubt my family would even notice I was gone - until they needed something, that is...
5) Make it tortilla chips, Teknomomma... I make a mean chalupa! Hot sauce, anyone? -

Sat, April 16, 2005 - 5:40 AMWelcome, Yasmeen! I think Kansas is a great mid-point. Chalupa? Hot Sauce? Sometimes I wish I had been born in Mexico and learned how to cook all that delicious type food.
