Reading a book

topic posted Sun, July 31, 2005 - 9:08 AM by  Bren-Duh
I am reading a book that is inside my head yet unwritten.

Today is my birthday. Everyone on tribe should know by now. I am so shameless. Hey, none of my friends threw a party for me so I thought that I would have a tribe party.

Now come get your ballons and hats.....cake will be served in a bit. :)

It's gotta be chocolate, with chocolate frosting, or you won't get me there!

Happy Butt-day kiddo! (it's an old family saying) ;o}'

Hey Joel, I am with you about the cake. I love chocolate cake. When I was growing up my mom taught me to cook by the time I was eleven. I would cook everyone's birthday cake. So, I would ask them what kind they wanted. My sister would say something like, I want a cherry cake. So she would get chocolate because I was the cook and it was my favorite. haha

Thanks Lisa. I had a great birthday. My family had a chocolate cake and ice cream for me with a couple of candle of course. A friend came from out of town to visit with me. I had tons of cards and plenty of online cards, many phone calls and even the four year old across the street picked out a dozen yellow roses for me. Now that was something. He is my little buddy.

Yep, I am loved and feel so blessed because of it. Hey, I paid my dues in the love dept. hehe

I am reading Midwives. An Opra pick a few years ago. I have one chapter left to find out if the midwife goes to jail. So don't tell me.

Don't ya just love the way I report on all the old book. Hey, they are cheap and that is the best reading. If I paid full price for a book, I am not sure that I would enjoy it. :) I might frame it instead. haha

Nothing wrong with reading the "old" books, I do the same thing because I usually can't afford the brand new releases. I don't think it matters when a book was released, as long as you enjoy reading it. :)

Have any of y'all read this book? Man, I was alright reading it until the last chapter. Then I puffed up and just about cried. I would have if I had allowed it. What an awesome book.
