Over the weekend, I started reading The Good Priest's Son, by Reynolds Price. Price has an interesting brand of storytelling and character development that I really enjoy. Of course, the story is set in NC (where I live), and Price is an English prof at the university where I work, so I must admit I might be biased. That said, I think he is quite good.
